La Mare de Carteret High School bids farewell with special events
Past and present students, staff, parents and School Committee members are invited to join a fond farewell to the school.
In the penultimate week of term, a series of special events will celebrate the legacy of the school. These moments of reflection and celebration will honour decades of learning, friendship and community spirit that have shaped the lives of thousands who passed through the school’s doors.
Open Afternoon – Tuesday 8 July, 3.30-5.30pm
Everyone (past and present students, staff, families and the wider community) is warmly invited back to the school for an open afternoon to say their final goodbyes. Guests can enjoy afternoon tea, guided tours, and the chance to reconnect with former classmates and staff members while reminiscing in the familiar surroundings of the school. Sports Day – Wednesday 9 July, 12- 2.30pm
La Mare de Carteret’s first Sports Day as part of Les Varendes will be held at Footes Lane. Former students – especially former record holders – are encouraged to attend and support the school’s current athletes and share in the LMDC school spirit one last time
